Diamond Blossoms Is A Fractal Based Kaleidoscope In Which Took A Diamond Looking Fractal Image And Processed It Through A Kaleidoscope Filter To Yield A Tech Like Diamond Structure Sitting Out In A Space Realm.
Then I Created A Black Background And Added A Brick Texture To It Fading Out The Background From The Center Which Makes The Surrounding Colors Of The Main Image Appear As Lights Shining On A Wall, Making The Original Image Appears As Though It's Coming Out Of A Wall.
The Tools Used For This Piece Are The GPU OpenGL / OpenCL / CUDA Fractal Generator Fractron 9000, The Photo Elements Image Editor And The Mehdi Kaleidoscope Plugin.
