This is a wonderful genre scene of a mother with her minor son and daughter going to her mother's house so that the children can celebrate their grandmother's birthday.

The scene takes place at the doorstep of the grandmothers home as her daughter knocks on the front door as she looks and gestures to her children.

The mother is dressed in a beautiful white dress with floral accents, with a pink shawl over her shoulders and a large tan hat on her brown hair with flowers on it.

The boy is wearing a white ruffled shirt, a blue vest with gold buttons, tan pants with a large white sash wrapped around his waist, white socks and black shoes; and he is holding scroll in his left hand.

The girl is wearing a white bonnet with a pink ribbon over it and a yellow-orange dress with floral printing, white socks and black shoes; and she is holding a red velour and gold accent gift box in both hands.

Meanwhile their grand mother is looking from the window of her home through parted curtains to see who is knocking at her door.
