Description
JOB c1896 by Czech Painter Alphonse Mucha (1860 - 1939); the leading and most prominent painter, illustrator and graphic artist of the art nouveau period
JOB is an elaborate free flowing image of a beautiful young lady with her hair draped over her shoulder and in her right hand she is holding on to the end of cloth that is flying in the wind behind the word JOB that is situated behind her head.
The text is in two parts, a center piece of the word JOB in green and outlined with a brick pattern and additional green symbols behind that. To unify the image there is a triangular waveform brick pattern of gold and purple all around the perimeter.
To accent the piece I add a five layer border comprised of green black and red borders that nice complement the colors of the art nouveau image.
This is a retouched digital art old masters reproduction of a public domain image.
