Description
Portrait of a Woman c1687 by Dutch Painter Willem Wissing (1656 - 1687), a portrait artist who painted the portraits of Charles II of England, Catherine of Braganza, George of Denmark James Scott, and the 1st Duke of Monmouth.
This is a warm portrait of a young woman sitting on a bench in the forest underneath a large tree. She has a brown scarf covering her head and is dressed in a blue and white dress, and has a satin red cloak around her resting on her lap; and in the background one can see a small village with a large mountain range behind it as the sun is setting.
This is a retouched digital art old masters reproduction of a public domain image.
