Elizabeth Kerr of Lothian was the daughter of Chichester Fortescue and Elizabeth Colley Wesley and the wife of William Kerr, 5th Marquess (a nobleman of high hereditary rank in various European peerages...) of Lothian (a region of the Scottish Lowlands, lying between the southern shore of the Firth of Forth and the Lammermuir Hills and the Moorfoot Hills).
