Dance c1898 by Czech Painter Alphonse Mucha (1860 - 1939) as well as an accomplished Illustrator and Graphic Artist who was a major force of the Art Nouveau Period; known for his stylized, ornate and decorative theatrical posters.
The Dance is one of four painting Mucha created to represent the four artistic genres, breaking them down into times of the day. With Morning representing Dance (which is this piece), Noon representing Painting, Afternoon representing Poetry and Night representing Music.

Rolando, as you know I love your fractal artwork, but it was also great to see that you admire one of my favorite artists, Alphonse Mucha. This is beautifully done and it helps this generation to appreciate his genius as well.
