Golden Beauty c1957 by American Painter Gil Elvgren (1914 - 1980); painter, illustrator and pin-up girl artist.

This is a stunningly beautiful portrait nude of a young blonde that is sitting on a stool that is draped in a very large green fabric that also covers the wall behind and to the sides of her as well as the floor.

She is looking down off to her right side with her left forearm tucked under her breast, with her left hand resting on her outstretched right elbow that has the fingers of her right hand placed on her left knee; with a red rose between her fingers.

Wrapped around her arms in front of her is a black negligee that drapes behind her left leg and under it, on top of her right leg and covering her left foot that is positioned underneath her right leg; before it flows onto the floor.

Just below her seated position are three other red roses, as well as rose petals that are laying on the fabric in front of her.

She is beautifully illuminated by a warm light on her right side that comes from above, giving her a nice warm glow; while the light gives the fabric behind her yellow accents throughout its many folds and overlaps.
