Description
La Volupté (Voluptuousness) c~ by French Painter Madeleine-Jeanne Lemaire (1845 - 1928); who's specialty was composing genre artwork and floral compositions.
La Volupté is a portrait of a beautiful Voluptuous nude young lady lying in a lavish bed with a string of pearls across her chest that her hands are holding while she smiles at the viewer; with drapes and flowers covering the walls and a chair covered with extravagant garments at the foot of the bed; and at the head of the bed is a night table that has a hand fan, powder puff, feathers, jewelry box with pearls and a vase with flowers on top of it and a pair of shoes on the bottom portion of the table.
This is one of two images Madeleine-Jeanne Lemaire created; the other being Le Sommeil de Manon c1906 which is also in this collection and I'm assuming that this piece may have been painted in the same year or very close to the same time frame.
Both pieces though are just stunning works of Feminine Art to view

I love this because your use of fabric and texture is just breathtaking. The folds and movement in the fabric give such a sense of realism, almost as if the viewer could reach out and touch it. The softness of the colors and lighting around the figure contrasts beautifully with the more vivid tones of the background, creating a lovely balance. The way you’ve captured the figure’s form with such delicate details gives it a timeless, almost ethereal quality. The composition and elegance of this piece speak volumes—so beautifully done!

Thank You Paisley. My only contribution was fixing the broken areas of the image and bringing out the color, of the piece; and the other one that Madeleine-Jeanne Lemaire did, which is similar to this one. They are stunning artistic creations and I'm glad as was able to add them to my Remastered Classical Art Collection.
