Luise von Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1776 - 1810) c1802 by Austrian Painter Josef Grassi (1757 - 1838); noted for his portraiture and historical paintings; he is often called Giuseppe Grassi.
Duchess Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz was the wife of Frederick William II and Queen Of Prussia. They had nine children which included two future monarchs; Frederick William IV of Prussia and Wilhelm I, German Emperor.
